Multi-Cell Dynamic Resource Allocation for DS-CDMA
Abstract
This project is concerned with Dynamic Resource Allocation (DRA) for
a multimedia cellular DS-CDMA network. DS-CDMA "resources"
include transmitted powers, processing gains, and number of codes. Our
goals are to (1) Develop techniques for DRA given multiple traffic flows
with different Quality of Service (QoS) requirements, and (2)
Characterize performance/complexity tradeoffs associated with these
techniques given simple traffic and propagation models.
